What We Do
Forest Health
LCRCD's Forest Health Program works with private landowners and managers, community groups, and state and federal agencies to enhance forest health and wildfire resilience across Lake County.
Sustainable Agriculture
LCRCD's Sustainable Agriculture Program provides technical assistance to farmers and ranchers, facilitates funding connections, and advises on conservation practices to improve soil health, water efficiency, and long-term climate resilience.
Watershed Restoration
LCRCD's Watershed Restoration Program works to improve water quality and wildlife habitat in Clear Lake and its tributaries through riparian and wetland restoration initiatives, invasive species management, and environmental mitigation projects.
Community & Youth Engagement
LCRCD hosts classroom- and field-based educational events events for youth, develops and delivers technical workshops for landowners and interested members of the public, and works to deepen the community connection to the unique ecology of Lake County.
Lake County Fire Safety Council
The Lake County Fire Safe Council convenes partners to coordinate wildfire resilience work and standardize messaging countywide, empowering residents with educational, physical, and financial resources to proactively protect their family, property, and community from wildfire.
